Cosmic Currents Part 2

Part #2 Living In Alignment With The Sun

The Sun moves through each of the 12 zodiac signs over the course of a year, spending about a month in each. This celestial rhythm offers a powerful framework for intentional living—where we sync our goals, energy, and reflections with the qualities of each sign. Living in alignment with the Sun isn’t about perfection or prediction—it’s about presence.

In Hellenistic Astrology is the radiant core in each one of us. It is our vitality, our consciousness, our mind and our souls. While Sun Sign Astrology is all about your personal sun sign placement, you have endless knowledge of who you are as a person based on all of your astrological placements. The Sun is, however, very important. Not just in your chart, but where it is in the zodiac all year long. When we look at how even the ancient astrologers regarded the Sun’s influences and significations, we see how important this celestial body is to living in alignment throughout the year.

Vettius Valens 2nd Century CE (translation by Chris Brennan), described the Sun as being all-seeing, the instrument of perception of the soul. It represents kingship, authority, mind, intelligence, form, motion, height of fortune, dealings with the gods, judgment, being engaged in public affairs, action, leadership of crowds, father, master, friendship, notable figures, being honored by portraits, statues, and crowns of office, high-priests of the fatherland.

Here’s how to flow with solar energy through each sign of the zodiac, season by season…

Aries Season (Approximately March 21st to April 19th)We start the astrological new year off with the Sun in the Exalted sign of Aries. The Exaltation of a luminary or planet means that it is allowed to express itself truly and freely. The Sun is comfortable and free in Aries. Aries is a Cardinal Sign, Cardinal Signs mark the beginning of new seasons. Cardinal energy is an initiator, it is driven by ambition, goals and the prospect of a new beginning. This modality creates natural leaders who are not afraid to take the first step and get things moving. Aries is also a Fire Sign ruled by the planet Mars. With this energy we see action, impulse, drive and sometimes anger. It is the Sign of the SELF.

Align by:

  • Setting bold goals. During this season, think about what goals you’d like to accomplish for yourself. The Sun in Aries is about the self, so this is where we take a look at our personal ambitions for the year. When choosing an area to focus on for goals, think about what house Aries is the ruler of in your chart.

Note - although Aries energy acts fast and impulsively, this fiery energy can sometimes fizzle out quickly. Setting manageable goals with a timed out plan is for the best.

  • Taking risks and experimenting. You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. Some signs greatly fear failure, Aries energy does not. As long as you are moving forward, even if you have to pivot, you are still prosperous.
  • Move your body to shake off the winter stillness. Being ruled by Mars, the planet of action, means that this energy likes to move. It doesn’t matter how you move your body, just that you do!!!
  • Saying YES before over-thinking. Now I personally find this to be one of the scariest things ever. To not weigh out the pros and cons and just commit seems crazy. But, hear me out, sometimes our brains can catastrophize even the most mundane of actions. It makes sense during Aries season to just “do” and figure it out later. This is particularly helpful for those that plan, but never start.

Taurus Season (Approximately April 20th to May 20th)

Taurus is a Fixed Earth Sign ruled by Venus. After Aries' burst of life, Taurus invites us to slow down and stabilize. It’s about cultivating what we’ve started. If the Cardinal signs are the starters, the Fixed signs are the stabilizers. This energy embodies persistence and determination. It is the time when each season is expressed at its peak. When you add the Earth element you have unshakable foundations. Backed by Venus we introduce care, beauty, comfort, luxury and art.

Align by:

  • Focus on routines and financial health. Being Earth ruled, Taurus enjoys having a multitude of resources. Proper routines make us more efficient and less stressed. Managing finances also reduces stress and gaining more resources helps us grow our ideas, goals and social support.

Note - for Taurian energy, resources aren’t always about money, the people around us can be our greatest resource to help us thrive, stay on task and to celebrate each other's successes.

  • Connect with nature. Taurus is the 1st of the Earth signs so this is obviously a given. Go out and connect with the beauty of nature. Taurus rules the 5 senses! See the trees spring to life, feel the earth beneath your feet, smell the flowers bloom, hear the birds wake up for the season and taste the new berries of a spring harvest. We leave the intensity of Aries behind so that we can slow down and appreciate our surroundings and the gifts of the Earth.
  • Cook nourishing meals. Food is also a resource. It is what fuels our bodies and we can’t live without it. Hydrate and fill your body with foods that are both luxurious and nourishing. We are slowing down at this time for our own enjoyment, not because of a lack of vitality. No more rushed meals eaten over the sink or stops at the drive thru because you haven’t eaten all day.
  • Enjoying beauty without guilt. We restrict ourselves from seeking pleasure in things simply because for some of us it feels wrong. There will always be someone struggling around you that makes it feel selfish to spend money. There will always be pay checks to earn, bills to pay and things to achieve. But, what is the point of any of it if we don’t seek out some kind of pleasure. We are human, not machines. If the beauty of life wasn’t important, we wouldn’t notice it or feel a longing for it.

Gemini Season ( Approximately May 21st to June 20th)

Gemini brings mental stimulation, social energy, and versatility. Gemini is a Mutable, Air sign that is ruled by Mercury. It is the 1st Mutable sign, Mutable energy is flexible, adapting, open-minded and embraces change. It is when a season is coming to an end before the world transforms again. Being ruled by Mercury this energy is best expressed in many different forms of communication. A prominent archetype for Gemini is that of “the teacher”, information in the mind is information shared.

Align by:

  • Learning something new. Gemini thrives on the energy of possibilities and curiosities. Learning new and exciting things satiated the Gemini thinking appetite. This is especially aligned with Gemini energy if you are learning a new way to communicate with yourself or others.
  • Journaling or writing. When you can’t talk to someone…write. Writing is an amazing way to express yourself, organize thoughts or even to be able to relive important moments that time may have us forget. Start a journal, write a book, scrapbook…even catching up on those missed planner entries can be a way to express yourself.
  • Having thought-provoking conversations. Some of the best moments with people begin around stimulating conversation. Have a social gathering of friends, sit around and see which topics get brought up. If you want some new exciting conversation, go to an event centered around one of your interests or hobbies.
  • Explore different perspectives. Life looks different depending on where you stand. To grow, we must learn to see beyond our own viewpoint. This means stepping into someone else’s shoes, questioning our assumptions, and zooming out to see the bigger picture. Looking at life from various angles helps us understand others, make better decisions, and respond to challenges with more clarity and compassion. Whether it’s viewing a tough moment as a lesson, seeing a disagreement as a chance to learn, or imagining how our future self might reflect on today—we gain insight by shifting perspective.

Cancer Season (Approximately June 21st to July 22nd)

Cancer calls us inward. It’s time to honor emotions, create safety, and tend to the heart. Cancer is a Cardinal Water sign ruled by the Moon. Cancer energy leads with the heart, trusts in intuition and its main goal in nurturing and connection. It is The Home, The Mother and The Womb. The two luminaries are brought together in harmony during Cancer Season. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, but Cancer Season itself holds the longest day of the year, The Summer Solstice and begins the summer season. The Moon is the embodiment of feminine energy, this energy is not about gender, it's about being receptive, intuitive and nurturing. If masculine energy talks, feminine energy listens.

Align by:

  • Spending time with family or chosen family. Cancer energy loves being at home with family. Scheduling dinner with family or friends is a great way to connect.

Note - Not all families are great or functional, sometimes the closest and best people in our lives are the family we make and not the one we are born into.

  • Creating a cozy sanctuary at home. In Cancer Season your home is your sanctuary. Spend some time cleaning or rearranging. If you are open to it or spiritual you can cleanse your home with herbs like sage and set up some protection. If you live with other people try and carve out a space of your own where you can sit, read, meditate or even nap.
  • Practicing self-care and emotional release. Proper self-care involves nurturing the mind, the body and the spirit. You need equal care for all of these facets of yourself to prove to yourself and the universe that despite the people in your life, that you are still a priority. Some examples for self-care: the mind - read a book about personal growth or something that will help you work on yourself. The body - move your body and feed it nourishing food. The spirit - go to church, explore new spiritual practices or connect with your spiritual self in a new way. There are also combination examples, doing something like yoga or tai chi enriches the mind, the body and the spirit. For emotional release you can’t beat Cancer Season, because it gives us two important gifts. The 1st is the New Moon in Cancer, this is about setting up a new emotional base line and developing new habits for emotional growth. The 2nd is the Full Moon in Capricorn, this is the perfect time to release any anger or frustration through tapping into the inner child and working with it or stabilizing your emotions by working with the Moon in Capricorn’s natural emotional maturity.
  • Honoring nostalgia and roots. Here we have an incredible opportunity to do some great emotional work. You can honor your roots by visiting the place where you were born or spending quality time with your parents/parent. You can honor your ancestors - for example if you are Irish you could listen to Irish music, play Gaelic games or even learn a bit of the Gaeilge language. You could also visit loved ones who have passed or perform an “honor the dead” ceremony.

Leo Season (Approximately July 23rd to August 22nd)

Leo is the season of the Sun itself. It wants us to shine, play, and create from the soul. Leo is a Fixed Fire Sign ruled by the Sun. When we compare the Fixed Signs, if Taurus is secure Earth, then Leo is an eternal flame. It is always burning with passion, creativity and vitality. The Sun is at its strongest in Leo Season because it is in its Domicile or Home. This energy is bright, confident, dynamic, regal and charismatic. This season also has a lot of masculine energy behind it. It is active, assertive, outward and courageous.

Align by:

  • Doing what lights you up. You want to be a big shining light for the world to see during Leo Season. Nothing is hidden in the rays of the sun, so how do you want people to see you? What makes your light shine that others can’t help but take notice? Whatever that thing is…do it with confidence.
  • Sharing your talents. We all have talents!! For some they are very Leo… singing, acting or performing. Some people may make art, craft or write. Create something that brings you joy and share it with others. We are sharing our creativity with people without fear of judgement. If it brought you joy to create it…then it is good art.
  • Dressing boldly. Some of the biggest fashion icons to have ever existed have prominent Leo placements. Marilyn Monroe was a Leo Rising, Madonna is a Leo sun with Venus in Leo, Twiggy has the Moon and Mars in Leo and Coco Chanel was a Leo sun with Venus in Leo. These icons didn’t follow trends, they created them. Wear whatever inspires you. Leo leads, it doesn't follow.
  • Celebrating life loudly. Even if you don’t know much about astrology, everyone knows that Leo is represented by The Lion. So ROAR!!! Speak your positivity and what you want into existence. Speak confidently about yourself and your ambitions as if you have already achieved it.

Note - if after reading this section you also have Katy Perry - Roar stuck in your head…same.

Virgo Season (Approximately August 23rd to September 22nd)

Virgo brings a back-to-school energy—perfect for organizing, editing, and improving. Virgo is a Mutable Earth sign ruled by Mercury. Virgo energy is analytical, practical, grounded and efficient. Virgo energy is also very much centered around self-improvement. Although striving for perfection is what causes the majority of Virgo's classic anxiety issues, we all can benefit from a healthy dose of improvement.

Align by:

  • Refreshing your routine. Having structure helps us improve by organizing our time and energy to give us more opportunity to grow. Setting clear, achievable goals can help keep the focus on what it is that you are after.
  • Decluttering your space. A clear space helps create a clear mind. When our surroundings are cluttered, it can lead to stress, overwhelm, and difficulty focusing. But when we declutter—even just a little—we make room not only in our homes, but in our heads. A tidy environment promotes calm, increases productivity, and gives a sense of control. It reduces visual distractions, helps regulate emotions, and can even improve sleep. Decluttering isn’t just about throwing things away—it’s about choosing what adds value and letting go of what doesn’t.
  • Supporting your physical health. Being an Earth sign Virgo energy is very attuned to the body and whether or not it is functioning optimally. Implementing a workout routine can help improve the body and can alleviate anxiety.

Note - Anytime I have ever started a new fitness goal or workout schedule I have done it on the New Moon in Virgo. I have noticed a pattern that routines started on a Virgo New Moon come to fruition on the Virgo Full Moon in March.

  • Offering your skills in service. Of all the helpers of the zodiac, Virgo is best known for their acts of service. They are just so good at doing things, that they have time to do things for others. In honor of this generous energy, offer up some free time to those in need. There are always ways to help. From volunteering at hospitals to walking dogs at shelters. Get your hands a little dirty in this season.

Note - While having healthy coping mechanisms is a must, I feel that Mercury’s influence helps Virgo energy work out its own problems through others. I personally believe focusing on others takes the focus off the self just long enough that it doesn’t seem so overwhelming.

Libra Season (Approximately September 23rd to October 22nd)

As day and night equalize, Libra seeks harmony—in our surroundings and in our interactions. Libra is a Cardinal Air Sign ruled by Venus. Represented by the scales, Libra energy is primarily characterized by the pursuit of balance, harmony, and justice. Venus's influence on Libra adds a focus to aesthetics, beauty and builds connections with others. Libra energy is all about building social relationships with friends and romantic partners. Libra Season is where the Sun is in its Detriment or Depression. The Sun has a difficult time expressing its individuality in a sign whose identity is that of “the other”. In this placement, the Sun’s bold, individualistic nature softens. Instead of shining for the sake of the self, it seeks to shine with and for others.

Note - In my personal opinion this is why I believe that the “seasonal depression” season runs from Libra Season to Aquarius Season. These are the two seasons where the great Sun isn’t free to express itself. The mere lack of light during these times is very representative of the depressive and dark moods we can suddenly find ourselves in.

Align by:

  • Cultivating intentional relationships. This is probably the hardest thing for adults to do. How often are we in a position to just go out and socialize with new people? However, cultivating relationships with different people can be such a socially healthy thing to do. So, when you have an opportunity, think about how you can interact with different people. If you have a co-worker that you say “hi” to, but know nothing about, ask them to go out to lunch or out to have coffee. Add that person you don’t know in your “suggested” friends section on Facebook, see if you have mutual friends and ask them how they know them. Ask a friend to invite some people that they know, but you don’t, go to an event and get to know them.
  • Refreshing your home or wardrobe aesthetic. This is a bit different than dressing boldly in Leo Season. Here we are changing the whole vibe. If you have a pretty basic style, but you have always loved dark academia, or gothic or the Victorian style…try it out. In Leo what you wear stands out, in Libra it's a lifestyle change.
  • Engaging in diplomacy. Sometimes we don’t want to engage in arguments or drama. It is productive however, to sometimes have the input of an outside source to weigh both sides of the situation equally. Offer to be that person that gathers all the details and lays out all of the information for processing. You can even do this at home with arguing siblings or your spouse. Take a conflict and resolve it equally. We are looking for the win-win scenario here.
  • Reconnecting with art and beauty. This one is easy. Go to an art museum or an art event. You could even go to a pop-up event that has different types of vendors that sell their handcrafted wares and their art. You don’t have to limit yourself to going to a museum to see a Monet or Rembrant. Art can be digital, instrumental or even a choreographed dance troupe production. There is amazing beauty and art out there that we sometimes miss. This is a time to immerse yourself in it.

Scorpio Season (Approximately October 23rd to November 21st)

Scorpio calls us to go deep. It's a season of shedding, healing, and reclaiming power. Scorpio is a Fixed Water sign ruled by Mars. Scorpio's influence makes things feel intense, whether it be love, passion, determination, or jealousy. Scorpio energy is associated with themes of life, death and regeneration…reflecting the ability to navigate periods of profound change and emerge stronger from challenges. Scorpio energy doesn’t do easy surface level things. It's comfortable with the dark, the unknown and the other types of things that we would rather not look at. Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, signifies action and passion, fueling Scorpio's relentless pursuit of its desires.

Align by:

  • Letting go of what no longer serves you. With Scorpio’s association with death and endings, letting go during Scorpio Season only makes sense. If you want new things in your life, you have to make room for it.

Note - A great fall “letting go” practice I like to do is go out and select a fallen leaf. Write down what you want to let go on the leaf, light it on fire and let the wind take the ashes. (Obviously take care when using fire outside)

  • Exploring your emotional and spiritual depths. Everything about Scorpio season is deep. Take some time to sit with your emotions, explore your emotional depths and the motivations behind them. Reach deep to connect with your inner spiritual world! You could meditate or even try some new practices and see how they work for you.
  • Protect your energy. Scorpio is ruled by Mars, the best offense is having an amazing defense. Learn ways to protect your energy, your home and your loved ones. There are many ways to do this. You could sage your home, carry protection crystals (black crystals) or even mop your floors with salt water.

Sagittarius Season (Approximately November 22nd to December 21st)

After the intensity of Scorpio, Sag season invites big ideas and broader horizons. Sagittarius is a Mutable Fire Sign ruled by Jupiter. Sagittarius carries with it the spirit of adventure and exploration. Driven by an insatiable wanderlust and optimism, Sagittarius energy craves exploration, whether it's through physical travel, delving into different cultures, or embarking on intellectual and spiritual journeys. Sagittarius is associated with higher learning, philosophy, and a continuous search for the deeper meaning of life.

Align by…

  • Traveling, even if it's mentally or locally. We know all about our personal surroundings and our day to day thoughts. Sagittarius season wants to explore beyond what is “normal” for you. This energy is naturally adventurous, always pushing boundaries and resistant to feeling tied down or confined by routine.

Note - Sagittarius loves spontaneous journeys. Instead of prepurchased tickets and itineraries just pick a place and GO!!!

  • Reading, Studying or Teaching. Jupiter’s influence on Sagittarius creates an appetite for expanding knowledge. Learn something new, even if it is just for fun. Sagittarius is also a sign associated with broadcasting. Learn something new and write a blog about it or film a video so you can share what you have learned with others. Attend some interesting out of town seminars. The options are limitless during this season.
  • Dreaming without limits. Jupiter is unconcerned with limits. Everything is possible and the sky truly is the limit. Our energy and time has limits, but our mental and spiritual expansion does not.
  • Laugh more. Optimism is a keyword for Sagittarius. Laugh and the world laughs with you.

Capricorn Season (Approximately December 22nd to January 19th)

Capricorn season grounds us in “purpose”. It’s time to build and climb with integrity. Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth Sign ruled by Saturn. After all the jovial adventures that came with Sagattarius, it's time to get serious with Capricorn. Saturn causes Capricorn energy to focus on ambition and realism. This season is for excellent planning and strategy, meticulously breaking down complex goals into manageable steps. Taking responsibility for your choices and serious consideration of your personal achievements is key.

Align by…

  • Setting long-term goals. Capricorn is probably best known for its consistent push to achieve success. Long-term goals act as a compass, guiding you towards your desired future and helping you define what truly matters in your life. Without a long-term vision, it's easy to drift through life without a clear sense of purpose. When faced with setbacks or challenges, a compelling long-term goal can be a powerful motivator to keep going. Saturn teaches us life lessons through our setbacks. It may seem harsh and frustrating, but it's not always solely about reaching the goal, but about how strong we became getting there.
  • Establishing boundaries. Saturn is the king of boundaries. Setting boundaries is a fundamental aspect of healthy relationships and personal well-being. Boundaries are essentially guidelines, rules, or limits that individuals establish to protect their physical, emotional, and mental space. Boundaries act as a protective barrier, shielding you from unwanted intrusion, emotional drain, and situations that compromise your values or peace of mind. They help prevent burnout and stress by ensuring you don't overextend yourself or allow others to exploit your time and energy. If you think you have healthy boundaries, consider how hard it is for you to tell people “no”. So simple and yet some of us find this so difficult to do.
  • Honoring traditions. Some signs break traditions and some uphold them. Honoring traditions, whether they are family customs, cultural practices, or community rituals, holds significant importance for individuals and societies alike. Traditions are not just remnants of the past; they are dynamic forces that connect us to our roots, shape our identities, and provide a sense of stability and belonging in an ever-changing world. In communities, traditions like festivals, celebrations, and rituals bring people together, reinforcing social bonds and fostering a sense of shared identity and purpose. This creates an atmosphere of togetherness when sometimes we believe that we are out here on our own. In a world of constant change, traditions offer continuity and predictability, providing comfort and stability.
  • Investing in your future self. You are your most precious commodity. Investing in your future self means making choices and taking actions in the present that will benefit your well-being, success, and fulfillment in the years to come. It’s about recognizing that your current choices have a direct impact on the person you will become and the life you will lead. This concept encourages proactive decision-making across various aspects of life. You have to take care of your health for your future longevity. You have to take care of your career and finances for your future resources. Most importantly, you have to take care of your emotional and mental wellbeing. How you greet each day influences how you progress to the next.

Aquarius Season (Approximately January 20th to February 18th)

Aquarius pushes us to think differently, care collectively, and break the mold. If Capricorn season pushed you into a tight box, Aquarius season is where you break free. This Fixed Air Sign ruled by Saturn is wholly against the status quo. Air energy is mental energy, this pushes the mind to question and consider. Using the archetype of the “Scientist” Aquarius breaks down information for analysis. A hallmark of Aquarius energy is a deep concern for humanity and a strong sense of social justice. It is in this concept that we see the Sun reach its “antithesis” or “fall”. The Sun is about “you”, the individual, while Aquarius embodies the concept of society and a single moving organism. This manifests as a desire to improve communities and advocate for change, whether it's through activism, volunteering, or simply leading discussions on societal issues.

Align by…

  • Exploring new technologies or ideas. Aquarius is the great thinker. Thinking so far out of the box that it can be deemed extreme or alien. This is where you should be challenging any dogmatic or rigid ways of thinking. The biggest changes that we can make for ourselves is not just thinking for ourselves, but understanding where those thoughts come from and their motivations. Trying new technologies can help us discover new hobbies, like minded people or even a clever way to free up some time for ourselves.
  • Getting involved in causes. There isn’t really a need to explain why this is so important, especially with the bleakness of winter still hanging on. Community and getting involved in causes are deeply intertwined and essential for individual well-being, societal health, and fostering positive change. A strong sense of community provides a foundation of belonging and support, while engagement in causes allows individuals to actively shape their environment and address challenges.
  • Collaborating with others. Humans are social beings. Collaboration not only brings people together, but it's an opportunity for people to share different ideas and perspectives. This collaboration can lead to innovative solutions and more effective efforts in the chosen project.
  • Embracing your quirks. Aquarius thrives on being “alien” or different from others. Embracing your quirkiness, your unique eccentricities, and the things that make you stand out from the crowd is crucial for personal well-being and even unlocking creativity and innovation. It’s about recognizing and celebrating the distinct qualities that make you, well, you – rather than trying to fit into a mold or seeking external validation. Trying to conform to societal expectations can be emotionally draining and lead to self-doubt. Embracing your quirks sends a powerful message to your subconscious mind that you are worthy of love and acceptance just as you are, leading to increased self-confidence. When you confidently embrace your quirks, you grant others permission to do the same, creating a ripple effect of self-acceptance and joy.

Pisces Season (Approximately February 19th to March 20th)

The final sign of the zodiac asks us to soften, dissolve, and dream. It’s a time of soulfulness. Pisces is a Mutable Water Sign ruled by Jupiter. Pisces energy is characterized by deep emotions, profound intuition, and a powerful connection to the spiritual and mystical realms. As the last sign, Pisces carries the wisdom and experiences of all the preceding signs, making it a sign of culmination, rebirth, and the dissolution of boundaries. Pisces is one of the most artistic signs of the zodiac, with a vivid imagination and a natural talent for creative expression. The Pisces symbol of two fish swimming in opposite directions represents the duality within the Piscean energy. It can be pulled between the desire to escape into fantasy and the need to remain grounded in reality.

Align by…

  • Creating or consuming art. Let your imagination run free. Jupiter expands, ruling Pisces it expands the subconscious and the imagination. Turn your dreams or daydreams into working of art or let your imagination interrupt the art of others.
  • Meditating or engaging in spiritual practice. These practices, rooted in ancient traditions but relevant in modern life, offer a pathway to inner calm, a deeper sense of self, and a more positive approach to navigating life's challenges. Meditation, particularly mindfulness meditation, can significantly reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation, calming the nervous system, and helping to regulate emotions. Mindfulness, a key component of many spiritual practices, encourages paying attention to thoughts and feelings without judgment, leading to greater self-awareness and understanding. This increased awareness can reduce self-criticism and promote self-compassion, improving mental well-being.
  • Allowing rest and emotional release. The cycle of winter is ending, but we all may have some left over emotional baggage from the dark months. Allowing yourself to rest and recharge is important. If you are someone who represses emotions so that you can get by in the day-to-day grind, then schedule a break. When you repress emotions you create a pressure cooker that can blow at any time. If you need to cry, then cry. If you need to yell, then yell. You have to release pent up emotions or they can fester inside of you.
  • Tapping into compassion. A lot of the negative expectations and pressures that we put on ourselves come from a lack of self-campassion. Self-compassion involves treating yourself with the same kindness, concern, and understanding you would offer a good friend in need. It's about acknowledging your pain and responding with care, rather than ignoring your struggles or punishing yourself with self-criticism. Research has shown that people who practice being kinder to themselves are less likely to experience anxiety, stress, and depression, and more likely to be happy and optimistic. Self-compassion can help individuals reduce negative self-talk, regulate emotions, and cope with setbacks. Being compassionate makes people happier, experience greater life satisfaction, and feel less isolated. Engaging in acts of kindness, whether small gestures or larger initiatives, can also have positive effects on mental health by reducing stress and improving mood.

Living in tune with the Sun’s transits is like breathing with the cosmos—expanding, pausing, contracting, releasing. Each season brings a lesson and a rhythm. By moving with the Sun, we create a year filled with meaning, momentum, and magic.
